Third Sector Centres has finalised an agreement with Mapeley Estates Ltd to manage the Victoria Charity Centre, which will incorporate three floors of 11 Belgrave Road. This project was formed as part of Mapeley Estates Ltd’s on-going CSR strategy and follows the success of a similar venture.
Eve Cook the director of Third Sector Centres was running the Kensington Charity Centre for almost four years and says, “I am very excited to have this opportunity here in Victoria; the centre is so accessible with fantastic transport links.” Mapeley has also refurbished part of the centre allowing for a conference room and meeting room to be available at reasonable rates.
The Victoria Charity Centre is the first charity office space created by Mapeley Estates Ltd and Third Sector Centres, but hopefully just one of many due to open around the country. As well as being in a sort after and very accessible location, the centre offers rents at £25 per sq
foot and service charge capped at £5.50 this year, increasing annually by the RPI. Leases are available until 2021.
IT and telecoms are available with high speed broadband connections. A full hosted network environment is available with help desk support provided by Gallery Partnership at charity rates.
A Samsung 7200 telephone system has been installed which offers everything you could need or want from Call centre applications, to VoIP, to sophisticated voicemail and call handling.
Our first Charity in residence is the Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths and we have reserved places for Women’s Interfaith Network, InterAct Reading, Russo British Chamber of Commerce and LAPN.
